Violet Defense Powered Light Fixtures Proven Effective Against Superbug Fungus

Puro disinfecting lighting solutions, powered by Violet Defense technology, has proven effective in killing 99.9% of the deadly, multi-drug resistant C. auris fungus in independent laboratory testing. C. auris has been of great concern to the CDC since its identification in 2009 because it is multidrug resistant, it is difficult to identify with standard laboratory methods, and it has caused outbreaks in healthcare settings.

Port of San Diego Explores Clean-Up Program with EcoSpears

The Port of San Diego has initiated a project with EcoSpears to test its technology for use in removing toxic chemicals from local waterways. This marks the first project EcoSpears has initiated on the west coast, and the latest major victory for the Florida startup.

We’re ecstatic to see EcoSpears making inroads with the California community, especially given how progressive that region is when it comes to clean tech.
